Hermanova Hut was founded in 1907 by the company Carl Stolzle & Sohne, and began producing pressed glass in 1910. In 1965, Hermanova Hut became part of the Sklo Union group. Designers at the factory include Vaclav Hanus, Pavel Panek, Frantisek Peceny, Vladislav Urban, Frantisek Vizner, and Frantisek Zemek. Production ceased in 2002.
