Murano/Sommerso 1950's Red & Amber Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of red glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Just a small nick to one side near the rim, shown in final picture.
