Murano/Venetian Red & Blue Sommerso Glass Sculpture

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in blue glass, wich is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 6 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just some black marks in the glass around the rim from the manufacturing process, shown in final pictures.
