Murano Vintage Pink Alabastro Glass Whale Sculpture

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass whale, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque cranberry pink and white glass, known as alabastro glass.

Size

Measures approx 4.25 inches tall by 6.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a minor manufacturing flaw (streaks in the glass colouring) shown in final picture.
