Isle of Wight Studio/Harris 'Azurene Green' Glass Vase

Description

A beautiful green glass 'cylinder' vase with gold and silver leaf inclusions, designed by Michael Harris in collaboration with William Walker in 1978, for his renowned British glassworks Isle of Wight Studio, part of the Azurene pattern range. Stil bears the factory label.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 4.75 inches tall by 1.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a small manufacturing "dimple" to the rim, shown in final picture.
