Victorian Burmese Uranium Pink Glass Enamelled Vase

Description

A wonderful 1890's Victorian glass vase with enamelled floral decoration. Made in pink + creamy yellow burmese glass, possibly by the British firm Thomas Webb & Sons, or American company Mt Washington, as both made similar glass in this style. Could also be Czech/Bohemian. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light.

Measures approx 5 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some wear to the gold gilding around the rim, see pictures.
