Murano Venetian Red Glass & Silver Leaf Bowl/Ashtray

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. There is also lots of silver leaf cased in the glass.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
