Murano/Venetian Red & Blue Sommerso Glass Vase

Description

A Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of orangey red glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small faint blemish to one side, shown in final picture. I've looked at this from different angles but cannot make my mind up if it is a bruise mark or manufacturing flaw.
