Kerry Glass / Michael Harris 'Heather' Globe Vase - Marked

Product Number: WS10328

A beautiful blue glass 'globe' vase with purple swirls, designed by Michael Harris in the 1970's, for Kerry Glass.  Part of the Heather pattern range, which was in production 1978 - 1985.  Bears the same flame pontil mark to the base as was also used at Michaels Isle of Wight Studio.  Other items from this range are shown in the book Michael Harris, Mdina Glass & Isle of Wight Studio Glass by Mark Hill, pages 94 - 95.  Kerry Glass was founded in Ireland in 1978 by Michael Harris, his wife Elizabeth, Ross Lewis and two of Michaels friends from Malta.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
