Description
Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass
'Geode' bowl/dish, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy. These bowls were made by several manufacturers, including
Archimede Seguso and
Cenedese. Very similar items by these makers are shown in the book
Italian Glass: Century 20 by Leslie Pina. In a stunning combination of dark blue glass cased in a band of paler blue glass, using the renowned Venetian
Sommerso technique.

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or crack, just a few minor surface scratches.
