Description
This is a magnificent chunky and heavy (1.5 kilos unpacked) 1950/60's Venetian glass bowl, made on the island of
Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of thick chunky clear glass filled with
Gold Leaf inclusions, with large patches of red, pink, blue and green glass. This piece is unmarked, but based on the gold leaf, large coloured patches, and thick dimpled underside, I believe it was most likely made by
Archimede Seguso.
Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included.
