Murano/Venetian Purple & Green Sommerso Glass Vase/Jug

Description

Here is a wonderful Venetian glass stem vase in the style of a jug, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 13 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small fleabite to the base, shown in final picture. Also a few surface scratches.
