Description
Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass toothpick holder/vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. This piece was made by A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese), similar items are shown in the book "Fifties Glass" by Leslie Pina (page 50). Decorated with silver leaf, white Zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and copper Aventurine. All of this is surrounded with an inner casing of red glass, and an outer clear glass casing.  

Size
Measures approx 3.25 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny fleabite to the base rim, shown in final picture, and a few small surface scratches.
