Murano/Venetian Vintage Pulegoso? Bubbly Blue Glass Vase

Description

Here is a magnificent blue glass vase, possibly made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. The glass is made up of thousands of tiny air bubbles to give a frothy effect, similar to if not the same as the pulegoso technique, made popular by Venini in the 1930's, and since made by other makers such as A.Ve.M.

Size

Measures approx 6.25 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. There are several burst air bubbles on the surface of the glass, but this is part of the manufaturing process and perfectly normal for these vases.
