Victorian Blue & Clear Glass Peacock Eye Trails / Cairngorm Bowl

Description

A beautiful Victorian clear glass bowl with applied blue and clear 'peacock eye trails' decoration, the design is also known as 'Cairngorm'. Designs such as this were produced by several factories from England, most notably Stuart & Sons, but also Stevens & Williams, Thomas Webb and Richardson. Bohemian/Czech maker Harrach are also known to have made some similar glassware. Ground and polished pontil mark to base.

Size

Measures approx 2.75 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of small nicks and flaw (blob of glass) to the blue "eyes", shown in final pictures, and a couple of surface scratches.
