Description

A wonderful Victorian pressed glass creamer, made in blue milk glass (also known as vitro-porcelain glass. Made by British company Sowerby in the 1880's, and bears their trademark of a peacock and a design lozenge on the inside base. This pattern number 1430 is shown on page 50 of the Sowerby Pattern Book XI from 1885. This particular colour range was called Turquoise.

Size

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
