AVeM Murano 1950's Zanfirico + Aventurine Red Glass Bowl #1

Here is an exquisite 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Attributed to A.Ve.M. (Arte Vetraria Muranese), similar items are shown in the book "Fifties Glass" by Leslie Pina (page 50). Decorated with silver leaf, patches of copper Aventurine, white Zanfirico lattice filigree, twisted ribbon canes, and multicoloured murrines! All of this is surrounded with an outer casing of red glass.

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
