Description
Here is a wonderful Venetian glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Seguso Vetri d'Arte, and designed by Flavio Poli in the 1950's. Has a worn label which reads "Grand Prize, Genuine Venetian Glass, World Fair Brussels, 1958". In a stunning combination of brown glass encased in Uranium yellow green glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the Venetian developed Sommerso technique.

Size
Measures approx 6.75 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition
Has a couple of tiny smooth nicks or manufacturing dimples/tooling marks to the base rim, and a narrow, slightly bevelled area to the inside top rim, possibly the result of a really tiny chip being polished out, or could just be the way it was made at the factory (a chip at that position would be very unlikely). All shown in final pictures and only noticeable on very close inspection.
