Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Green & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass teardrop stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, and attributed to Galliano Ferro. In a stunning combination of green glass encased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 12 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks other than a couple of small nicks to the top rim, shown in final picture.  Also mentioned for accuracy is some minor surface scratches.
