Murano Venetian Amber Glass Silver Leaf Bowl/Ashtray

Description

This is a magnificent 1950's/60's Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of amber & clear encased glass, with silver leaf inclusions and multicoloured murrines.

Size

Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of really tiny and faint fleabite sized bruise marks, one to the rim and one to the inside of the vase. There are also two manufacturing flaws - an intact air bubble to the inside, and a blob of extra glass to the outside. All shown in final pictures.
