Flygsfors Glass Bowl by William de Moor Signed '40

Description

A stunning Scandinavian glass bowl with black + turquoise speckles. The signature is hard to make out due to a lot of base wear, but I believe it reads "Flygsfors, W de M '40, 5 - 2 - 15". Made by the Swedish firm Flygsfors, and designed by Willem G. de Moor in 1940. A rare piece to find, Willem G. de Moor joined Flygsfors in 1939 as art director, and left soon after in 1942.

Size

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of small nicks to the top rim and base rim, and a manufacturing dimple just underneath the top rim, all shown in final pictures.
