Description

A superb 1930's Czech/Bohemian bright yellow blown glass vase with applied dark blue glass rim and hot glass windings. Probably by Welz or Kralik. Known as "mono-coloured" or "tango" glass, this technique was developed by Loetz around 1914.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than tiny nicks to the very tips of the blue glass winding, hardly noticable, and common in items of this type. Shown in final picture.
