Victorian 1890s Vaseline / Uranium & Opalescent Glass + Vase

Description

A stunning Victorian 1890's glass vase. Made in vaseline/uranium yellow green glass, which glows in UV light. Has a white opalescent rim and vertical stripes. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories, such as John Walsh Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
