20th Century Glass

Victorian 1890s Vaseline / Uranium & Opalescent Glass + Vase

Product Number: WS10309

Description
A stunning Victorian 1890's glass vase. Made in Vaseline/Uranium yellow green glass, which glows in UV light. Has a white Opalescent rim and vertical stripes. Most likely made by one of the British glass factories from the Stourbridge area of England, such as John Walsh Walsh, Richardson or Thomas Webb.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size
Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition
Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
