The Sklo Union group was formed in 1965 as part of the process of Nationalisation and reorganisation of the Czech glass industry. Most Czech glass factories involved in the production of pressed glass became part of the Sklo Union, which was for pressed glass only. These factories included Rosice, Hermanova Hut, Rudolfova Hut, Libochovice, and Nemsova.
