Description

A wonderful pair of Victorian 1890's opaque custard glass vases, with applied pink threaded decoration. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light. Custard glass was made by several Victorian era glass factories, including Stevens & Williams and Boulton & Mills from the Stourbridge area of England, and Czech/Bohemian maker Harrach.

Size

Measures approx 4.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small nibble to the rim of one vase, and a tiny section of pink threading missing from the other vase, all shown in final pictures.
