Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass swan sculpture, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy.  In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in green glass, which is further encased in pale blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. The small amounts of Uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light.

Size

Measures approx 9 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
