Victorian Opaque Custard Glass Pair of Threaded Vases

Product Number: WS12943

 Sold / Reference

Description

A wonderful pair of Victorian 1890's opaque custard glass vases, with applied pink threaded decoration. Custard glass was made by several Victorian era glass factories, including Stevens & Williams and Boulton & Mills from the Stourbridge area of England, and Czech/Bohemian maker Harrach. No uranium content (does not glow). Rough pontil marks to base.

Size

Measure approx 3.25 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a tiny nick to the applied white decoration on one vase, very hard to spot. I've tried to show this in the final two pictures.
