BOXED Chřibská Czech Pink & Orange Glass Basket Bowl

Description

A wonderful Czech glass sculptural basket shaped bowl.  In a stunning combination of pink and orange glass encased in clear glass.  Made by the Chřibská glassworks, designed by Josef Hospodka, pattern number 836/6/18. Shown in a 1970's and 1999 Chřibská catalogue, and issue 10 of the 1979 Czech Glass Review, see last images (with kind permission, and copyright of Jindřich Pařík www.CzechGlassGuide.cz). Comes in the original box, and still bears the original label which reads "Bohemia Glass, Made in Czechoslovakia".

Size

Measures approx 6.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
