Japanese Amber & Blue Glass Organic Ribbed Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a very unusual and chunky, heavy organic glass sculpture bowl / ashtray. From the bird bath style base, shape and colours used, this was most likely made in Japan. Manufacturer currently unknown. In a stunning combination of amber glass encased in clear glass, with blue ribbed stripes.Large ground and polished pontil mark to base. Looks green from some angles when viewing the amber glass through the blue.

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 5.75 inches in diameter at widest point.
