LABELLED V.B. Opaline Florence Empoli White & Brown Glass Vase

Description

A brown and white marbled vase, made in the region of Empoli, near Florence, Italy, by the Vetreria Barbieri glassworks. Often mistaken for Carlo Moretti glassware due to the marbled design, this vase still bears its original label which reads "V.B. opaline Florence, made in Italy".

Size

Measures approx 9.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a minor manufacturing flaw to the side of the rim - a tiny thin trail of extra glass, shown in final picture. Barely noticeable and only mentioned for accuracy.
