V.B. Opaline Florence Empoli Marbled Orange & Black Glass Vase

Description

A black, white and orange marbled vase, made in the region of Empoli, near Florence, Italy, by the Vetreria Barbieri glassworks. Often mistaken for Carlo Moretti glassware due to the marbled design, these items can be found bearing labels which read "V.B. opaline Florence, made in Italy". This particular vase has a different label, but in a similar style, very worn, but would have originally read "Opalina Fiorentina, made in Italy".

Size

Measures approx 10.25 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a slightly uneven finish to the rim, which is quite normal and very common for these items.
