Cristalleria Artistica Toscana / Alrose Italian Red & White Glass Bottle

Description

Here is a wonderful massive 1960's Italian bulbous glass decorative bottle vase, made in the Italian region of Empoli. Made by Cristalleria Artistica Toscana (C.A.T.). Similar pieces are attributed to Alrose (an American importer) in the book "Italian Glass" by Leslie Pina, on page 117. Consists of red glass with spiralling white stripes. Still bears the original "Made in Italy" import label (worn). Would probably originally have had a matching stopper, but if so this is now missing.

Size

Measures approx 20 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a few small surface scratches.
