LABELLED Archimede Seguso Murano Green Glass Gold Leaf Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian small glass bowl, possibly a salt or small ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in green glass with an applied clear glass rim filled with gold leaf inclusions. This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso. Still bears the scalloped "Made in Italy" label on the base, which was used exclusively by Archimede Seguso. Also has the blue George Hardy import label in the inside, which reads G. Hardy & Co Ltd, Blown Murano Glassware. Both labels are quite worn.

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
