Archimede Seguso Green Murano Glass Shell Bowl - Label

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass shell bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made in green glass with a controlled bubble effect encased in the glass, known as bullicante. This bowl was made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears the scalloped Archimede Seguso label on the base.

Size

Measures approx 1.5 inches tall by 3.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a smooth manufacturing dimple to the base (not a chip) shown in final picture.
