Archimede Seguso Alabastro Murano Glass Fruit Shaped Bowl

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian fruit shaped glass bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque pink and white glass, known as alabastro glass. This piece was made by Archimede Seguso. Shown in the book "Archimede Seguso, Mid-mod Glass From Murano" by Leslie Pina, page 197.

Measures approx 2.5 inches tall by 5.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has some wear to the inside of the bowl from use, shown in final picture.
