Archimede Seguso Alabastro Glass Swan / Bird Figurine - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian sculptural glass swan, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of green and white glass, blended together in a style known as alabastro glass. This piece was made by Archimede Seguso, and still bears their well known scalloped label on the base (worn).

Size

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than possible minor restoration done to the very tips of the wings, shown in final pictures. This could just be the way it was made at the factory, but I like to be thorough and mention everything. Only noticeable on very close inspection.
