Archimede Seguso Alabastro Green Glass Ovoid Vase - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian glass ovoid vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of green and white glass, blended together in a style known as alabastro glass. This vase was made by Archimede Seguso. Still bears the very worn remains of the scalloped "Made in Murano, Italy" label on the base, which was used exclusively by Archimede Seguso.

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches.
