Carlo Moretti Satinato Orange Murano Glass Bowl - Labelled

Description

This is a magnificent Venetian frosted orange glass footed bowl with inner white casing, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It was produced by Carlo Moretti, the range is known as "satinato". Still bears the original factory label on the base. Similar items are shown in the excellent book "Italian Glass - Century 20" by Leslie Pina, page 46.

Size

Measures approx 4.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
