MARKED Venini Murano Glass Zanfirico Fazzoletto Vase

Description

Here is an exquisite 1950's Venetian white + purple glass "Fazzoletto" (handkerchief) vase. Made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by famous manufacturers Venini, designed by Paolo Venini in 1955, and bears their three line acid stamp manufacturing mark to the base, which reads: "Venini, Murano, Italia" (this example is difficult to read, as is often the case, see pictures). Made with alternating stripes of lattice criss cross zanfirico filigree strands.

Measures approx 3.5 inches tall by 4.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
