Murano/Sommerso 1950's Blue Glass Perfume/Scent Bottle

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass perfume/scent bottle, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of blue glass cased in paler blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original Hans Geismar import label.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. For accuracy I should mention that the stopper is a bit loose fitting, but it is definitely the original.
