Galliano Ferro Murano Sommerso Purple & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy, by Galliano Ferro. Still bears the original factory label. In a stunning combination of purple glass cased in blue glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique. Still bears the original generic "Made in Italy" label (worn).

Measures approx 9.5 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.
