Murano Blue & Amber Organic Sommerso Glass Sculpture Bowl

Description

Here is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of royal blue glass encased in amber glass, using the Venetian developed sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 7.5 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a small nibble to one side, shown in final picture, and a couple of minor surface scratches.
