Cristallo Venezia CCC Murano Turquoise & Amber Sommerso Glass Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by the Cristallo Venezia CCC glassworks. Very similar pieces with the same star shaped base can be found online with labels that read "Cristallo Venezia, CCC". To see some labelled examples, please see my Pinterest board here. In a stunning combination of turquoise green glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 5.5 inches tall by 9.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Just a couple of nibbles to the base rim, shown in final pictures.
