Arte Nuova Murano Green & Amber Sommerso Biomorphic Glass Bowl

Description

A Venetian organic glass sculpture bowl / ashtray, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Arte Nuova in the 1950's/60's, unmarked, but this design can be found online with a label which reads "Arte Nuova Murano, Pustetto & Zanetti, Made in Italy". In a stunning combination of green glass cased in amber glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Measures approx 1.75 inches tall by 6.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent codition, no chips or cracks.
