Murano Red & White Glass Zanfirico Filigree Bowl

Description

Here is a wonderful 1950's/60's Venetian glass dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Decorated with alternating stripes of white zanfirico lattice filigree and red ribbons, with an applied clear glass base filled with gold leaf inclusions. Still bears the original Hans Geismar import label, which reads "Lido, HG, Venetian Art Glass".

Size

Measures approx 2 inches tall by 5.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
