Murano/Venetian Italian Pink Alabastro Glass Vase

Description

A small 1950/60's Venetian organic glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of opaque pink glass, known as alabastro glass. Possibly made by Archimede Seguso. Still bears the original generic "Murano Glass" label.

Please note: Although this vase is obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, it is still classed as a vase. Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

No chips or cracks, just some internal water staining from use.
