V.B. Opaline Florence Italian Empoli Glass Vase - Labelled

Description

A blue, orange and white marbled vase, made in the region of Empoli, near Florence, Italy, by the Vetreria Barbieri glassworks. Still bears the original label which reads "Hand, AV, made in Italy" (quite worn). The label is very similar to the "V.B. opaline Florence" labels found on other glassware in this same pattern, and thought to be an exporter or retailer who used the same label printing company.

Size

Measures approx 15.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a manufacturing dimple to the neck of the vase, shown in final picture.
