Empoli Large Italian Green Glass 'Zodiac' Decorative 'Genie' Bottle

Description

A huge green mold blown glass decanter, decorated with signs of the zodiac, made by one of the many glass manufacturers based in the region of Empoli, Italy. Has "Made in Italy" on the base.

Size

Measures approx 22.25 inches tall by 4.25 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just some internal water staining from use. The cork is not attached to the stopper, but seems to be wedged into the bottle itself. The stopper can be removed easily, and fits snugly into the cork, but I haven't tried to remove the cork from fear of damaging it. If the bottle was to be used as intended, the cork would obviously have to be removed, and could possibly be glued back onto the stopper.
