Bagley #334 Pair of Art Deco 4" Green Glass 'Grantham' Vases

Product Number: WS12707

 Sold / Reference

Description

A wonderful pair of art deco green glass vases. Made by British company Bagley & Co in the 1930's, part of their 'Grantham' pattern range (catalogue number 334). Made in uranium green glass, which glows brightly in UV light. No flower frog inserts.

Please note:  Although these vases are obviously too small to hold a bunch of flowers, they are still classed as a vase.  Small vases like this were often used to hold flowerheads, or miniature "sweetpea" flowers, or simply used as decorative ornaments.

Size

Measures approx 4 inches tall by 2.75 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

One vase has a nibble to one corner of the underneath base rim, and the other vase has a nibble to the top rim, all shown in final pictures.
