Sowerby #1148 Victorian Antique Malachite / Slag Glass Spill Vase

Description

A wonderful Victorian pressed glass spill vase in purple & white marbled malachite glass, also known as slag glass, unmarked. This design, pattern number 1148 is shown on page 1 of Sowerby's Illustrated Pattern Book No IX, issued in June 1882.

Size

Measures approx 3 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Good condition, just a small nibble to the inside rim, and another small nibble to the base of one "foot", all shown in final pictures.
